In July, I had the opportunity to make a short flight around the area of Deventer as part of a graduation event. Although it was just a very short flight of about 15 minutes, we flew over the area around Deventer which delivered really nice pictures.

After taking off from Teuge Airport, one of the first things we saw was the city of Deventer, which you can recognise by the Lebuinus church centrally located in the picture.
As the city of Deventer is situated next to the IJssel river, we logically flew over that as well. In the right bottom corner you can see the boat house of the row and sail club Daventria.
On the other side of the IJssel river, we enter the province of Gelderland. On the right top corner you can still see the city of Deventer with the beautiful river. On the foreground (the road starting in the right bottom corner) is the N790. In the left top corner you can see just the edge of the village of Twello.
If we flew further and slowly headed back to the airport, we flew over the little village of Wilp-Achterhoek. A small village located just of the A1 highway in a nice rural area. Just to the right of the center there is a company specialised in pet food.
