Frankfurt and Heidelberg

Back in May I have spent a few days in Frankfurt and Heidelberg as part of a short holiday. Although I didn’t take many photographs during that holiday, I managed to make a few nice pictures I really wanted to share.

Main Tower

One of the nicest views you can get is from the Main tower. Its a paid entry to the tower, but once on the roof terrace the view is unbelievable and you can really shoot excellent sunsets from up here. Also night shots work really great too!

From the Main Tower you have a 360 panorama view of Frankfurt and you are even able to see the airport with planes landing and taking off. Look at the bright lights in the distance. Much closer to the Main Tower is the Hauptbahnhof with its massive layout and many tracks!

I was able to spend one day in Heidelberg by going with the train from Frankfurt. I really loved Heidelberg with its iconic views from the castle and the small streets! Also, if you are into spirits, I can really recommend the liquor store in the city!
