On the 10th of September, in the village of Zwinderen, not too far from where I am living, a concert was organised with the Excelsior orchestra and Alides Hidding as a special guest! The concert, which was given from a ponton next to a bridge delievered some real magical pictures!
The evening started with a beautiful sunset, while the crows was gathering on the opposite side of the canal.
As evening fell, the orchestra played the first part with music from famous movies that had been released over the past years and everyone recognised. This resulted in a magical evening of movie singalong!
Thanks to perfect lighting conditions, as night fell, this delivered some truly amazing pictures of the orchestra playing.
After some time, the orchestra stopped playing and took a break. This is when special guest Alides Hidding took the stage and played many of his songs he became famous for, such as I’m specialised in You and Listen to the Man with the Golden Voice.
Finally, the orchestra took back over and as for a magical finish they even invited Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies over for a singalong! It was a perfect finish to a perfect evening!
